Ark: Survival Evolved release date delayed

Ark: Survival Evolved release date
Ark: Survival Evolved will now leave Early Access on August 29th, 2017

If you were looking forward to Ark: Survival Evolved making it out of Early Access, you’ll have to wait a bit longer. Today, in a Community Crunch post on the official forums, the developers have confirmed that the Ark: Survival Evolved release date has been delayed a couple of weeks. The game was slated to leave Early Access and launch as a full title on August 8th however, it has been pushed back to August 29th, 2017. They did confirm that the game has finished its Gold Master development and that the retail certification process is+ complete.

In a press release, Doug Kennedy, CEO and Co-Founder of Studio Wildcard stated that “The evolution of ARK has taken a 2-year journey through early access, and the full version will demonstrate that the extra time in development was put to good use. We spent the extra time squashing bugs, improving performance, enhancing the single player experience and delivering the end-game content that will reveal the full story of ARK. We’re excited to finally get it into the hands of survivors everywhere!

Ark: Survival Evolved has been delayed multiple times at this point. With that in mind, I seriously doubt a couple of weeks will make a huge impact on the wait. Nonetheless however, this is certainly disappointing for fans.
