Black Ops 3 drops a few more campaign & multiplayer details at Gamescom 2015

Black Ops 3 is one of 2015’s most anticipated shooters so naturally it’s impossible to keep details of the games mechanics quiet for too long, which sadly leaves very little to discover for yourself when you finally get your hands on a copy.scorestreaks

So in keeping with tradition Treyarch have released even more details about Black Ops 3 at this year’s Gamescom.

Returning to Blacks Ops 3 is: League Play. Re-branded as Arena, your ranking will be based on wins and wins alone. With 20 ranks to work your way through, Master Division being the highest, loosing two games in a row will see you demoted again to the rank below you.

“You are ranked on wins and wins alone. Every 5 ranks, you need to string together even more wins to go to the next level.” David Vonderhaar.BO4

Also revealed is that there will be no ‘follow icon’ in the campaign mode meaning that you will have the ability to explore more and at your own pace.

This will also mean that the way you attack missions will be in your own style, not just simply following the character in front of you. This open world feeling will add a lot more replayability to the Black Ops 3 campaign, where as previously CoD campaigns were a play through once feature of which you then cast aside for multiplayer for the next 11 ½ months.
