The schedule will begin exclusively for PlayStation 4 owners who have pre-ordered CoD:IW on Friday, October 14th at 6pm UK time, which translates as 1pm EST and last for 3 days at least (according to the FAQ section of the Activision site).

The second round of Beta testing will start on Friday, October 21st at the same time (6pm GMT, 1pm EST) for players who have pre-ordered CoD:IW on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, this last round of testing will end on Monday, October 24th at 6pm GMT, 1pm EST.

The press release states:

“Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare multiplayer allows you to customise your play like never before, with the fast paced gameplay that Call of Duty is known for, giving you more ways to optimise weapons and gear to your personal style of play. Infinite Warfare introduces the most advanced tools of war: combat rigs, high-tech equipment and unique prototype weapons.  Everything – including weapons, equipment, lethals and tacticals – has been built for a variety of play styles, where you have the power to combine them however you want. Movement in Infinite Warfare multiplayer builds from the fluid, momentum-based system of Call of Duty: Black Ops III and is evolved to custom-fit the new combat that will still feel familiar to any Call of Duty player.”

The beta will only be live to console players who pre-ordered Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and will not be available to PC gamers. You can pre-order CoD:IW from the official site.

So far the content of the beta has not been revealed but is expected in the next couple of weeks – so keep your eyes peeled!
