Earlier today during the Call of Duty Twitch stream, which you can watch here, Infinity Ward unloaded some information on the new Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare game and the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare remastered pre-order bonus. If you were just planing on buying Call of Duty: Modern Warfare remastered, you'll be either saddened or surprised to find out that you'll need to get this year's Call of Duty in order to play it. Not only will you have to buy Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, but you will need to buy the Legacy, Legacy Pro, or Digital Deluxe Editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare to get the download code for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare remastered. The remastered version of Call of Duty 4 is just like the name implies - a remaster of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. It will include the full iconic campaign, the original multiplayer, and 10 "fan-favorite" multiplayer maps. Out of those 10 maps, Infinity Ward have revealed that 3 of these maps are "Crash", "Backlot", and "Crossfire". You will be able to reach Master Prestige in the multiplayer, as well as unlock weapons/weapon attachments, and perks. Infinity Ward will be the Executive Producers of the remaster, while Raven Software is heading up the development of the game. No stats will be carried over from the original game, so everyone will need to re-rank on those leaderboards. Finally Call of Duty: Modern Warfare remastered will have the original movement from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and will have it's own dedicated servers.
