Dead Rising 4 Gets New Difficulty, Customization and More

Dead Rising 4 released on December 6, 2016 to Windows 10 and Xbox One. It received decent reviews, however, some gamers were disappointed with the lack of difficulty options. Now, however, Xbox has announced several new features coming to the game.

The first, and most exciting, is the addition of two new difficulty modes. Called Hard and Ultra-Hard, they introduce several new challenges for players to overcome. Frank’s weapons will break faster, food will recover less health and he’ll take more damage from enemies. The next major update is the addition of five new outfits from the Street Fighter series. Both the outfits and the new difficulties will be available January 30.

However, the new content doesn’t end there. If you haven’t picked up Dead Rising 4 yet, this is your chance to decide whether you might want to. A free trial is being made available on Xbox One. Players will be able to access the side content and main missions for one hour. You can also earn achievements and try out the multiplayer. Last but not least, Dead Rising 4 is going to be available for players to buy in Germany, on both Xbox One and Windows 10. This is great news, as it will be the first game in the series to be available for purchase in Germany. Both the release of the game in Germany and the free trial will become available on January 31.

All of this points to fantastic continued support for the game. For gamers who have played since release, you’ll have great new stuff to look forward to. If you haven’t picked up the game yet, it’s a great time to consider hopping in. If you want to see the full list of statistics and details on the updates, please check here.
