Nintendo have just revealed during their E3 Spotlight presentation that Metroid Prime 4 is currently in development, seemingly affirming previous rumors.
Nothing else is known other than the fact that the game is definitely in development for Nintendo Switch. There was no gameplay shown, no release date (or even a window), just that familiar sound effect and the title (see above).

I don’t know about you but I was incredibly giddy as soon as I heard the noise. The first three were phenomenally good games and if you haven’t had the pleasure I sincerely recommend you try to.
So that’s it, we just have to wait to see if “in development” means we will see more in a reasonable time frame, or if we will be waiting for a few years. Regardless, it is exciting to see.
