During the E3 2017 Microsoft Press Conference, Ashen returned after a long period of quiet to grace the stage.
A very moody and intriguing presentation
A trailer showed that it’s a third person adventure game, with a very peculiar art-style: the world is cell-shaded, and the characters and enemies have no eyes! It also seems very inspired by the Dark Souls franchise.
It will be a Xbox One console launch exclusive, with Xbox One X enhancements. No release date or price was revealed.
It looks very intriguing. Seeing an indie developer trying to tackle the Dark Souls style, with its own little twist is both impressing and surprising. We’ll see how it actually turns out. What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
