Earlier this year at the E3 2015 Bethesda press conference, it was announced that a new free to play game for mobile devices and tablets was available to download called Fallout Shelter.
Sadly that ‘available to download now’ was only for those using Apple devices, however today Bethesda have released the Android version to the Google Play store, so if you missed out due to your IOS choices you can now join the vault dwellers.
Along with the Android version comes some new additions to the game including:
- New threats to Vault Dwellers
- A new robot assistant called Mister Handy
As with any free to play game there are a few microtransactions that you will encounter, and if you are so included to indulge you will be looking at a minimum of $1.33 up to a max of $26.84 for individual purchases.

Send Dwellers above ground to explore the blasted surface left behind and seek adventure, handy survival loot, or unspeakable death. Find new armor and weapons, gain experience, and earn Caps. But don’t let them die!
