11 Bit Studios (creators of This War of Mine) on their official website today announced their new project Frostpunk, a game set in a frozen world with steam-powered technology. Vague in describing the game, all we could get in relation to how the game is being developed is this quote:
“Although Frostpunk utilizes strategy & management elements, its core revolves around empathy & decision-making rather than optimization and resource management.”
This hardly gives any hints except maybe for gamers to expect a repeat of This War is Mine, the concept of humanity being pushed to the limit and how it survives; with the only difference being that everything will be taking place in ice. Watch the teaser below:
I am afraid that without more information, very few can be excited about the what to expect from the game. This is just my opinion, let us hear yours below in the comment box. Frostpunk is set to be released in 2017.
