Clearly the big winners here picking up 3 awards including Best Console Game, Best Action/Adventure Game and Best of Show, was The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Previous Best of Show winners include Fallout 4 (2015), The Last of Us, (2012), Half-Life 2 (2003) and the first Best of Show winner – Freelancer (1999).

It may have come as no real surprise however, with Battlefield 1, picking up Best Action Game, or Civilzation VI being named Best PC Game.

Horizon Zero Dawn, God of War, Batman: Arkham VR and PlayStation VR were big winners for Sony and PlayStation 4, picking up Best Original Game, Special Commendation for Graphics, Best VR Game and Best Hardware/Peripheral respectively.

But that’s enough from me! What do you think? Do you have any alternatives to the winners picked by a panel from 38 different sources? Check out this link to see the nominees – do you agree with the winners? Tell us now in the Comments below or in the RGM Forums!
