Jurassic World 2 looking to cast a “significant” female role!

If you find yourself free between February and June of 2017, as well as between the ages of 9 and 10, then you may have a chance at being in the next Jurassic World movie!

An open role for a child actress was placed on the website “Actors Access” with the description:

She is a young girl around 9 years of age. The girl playing “Lucy” must be at least 9 years of age by February 2017, but cannot be over 10 years old. She must be a sensitive and clever actress capable of handling long and complex scenes. Lucy must be able to handle a range of emotions from tender moments with her father, to anxiety, bravery, and shock. This role represents a huge and exciting opportunity for a young actress to play a significant role in a major Hollywood blockbuster.

Unlike most open casting calls like this, the role seems like it’d be relatively prominent in the main storyline and could prove to be part of the film’s overall focus. For any young ladies wanting to go into acting a little bit earlier than they probably expected, this would be an amazing opportunity (as well as a worthwhile excuse to hang out in Hawaii for five months).

For the parents that may be a little skeptical about it, you’ll probably get to join and hang out with Chris Pratt while your talented daughter gets to act her heart out. What’s not to like?

Are you excited for Jurassic World 2? Do you guys know anyone who might be interested in this role? Let us (and them, if they feel like facing off against dinosaurs) know in the comments!
