If you are anything like me, if you’re not on your Xbox then you’re on the PC. Switching between the two can be a bit of an annoyance if you only need to do something brief. So when I saw this news I was extremely excited.
The power and versatility of the Xbox One is of such a high standard that the introduction of a mouse and keyboard would open up a whole new level of functionality for users across the board.
Obviously you can still use your controller to access Internet Explorer and surf the web, but it’s a slow and cumbersome process meaning most of us turn to our PC’s for those more fiddly tasks.
Whilst there is no actual announcement about the implementation of a keyboard and mouse for the Xbox One, head of Xbox Phil Spencer advises that the “aren’t far away”.
The Xbox One is proving to be the console that just keeps on giving and with the launch of Windows 10 at the end of this month Xbox One users will be able to stream their Xbox One games to PC and tablets, and also make use of connected Xbox Live social features.
If you have been waiting to make the switch or upgrade to an Xbox One now is definitely the time to do so. Console gaming has never looked as appealing, versatile or adaptive as what it does now.
