After releasing on Tuesday 28th of June LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens has blasted it way to the top of the UK game charts. LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens sits at the top above FIFA 16 which is still in 2nd place, Overwatch moved up to 3rd from 4th, Doom drops from 1st to 4th and Uncharted 4 drops from 3rd to 5th.
The release of LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the 4th biggest launch for a LEGO game behind Indiana Jones, Marvel Super Heroes and Batman. For a Star Wars title it is also the 4th biggest launch after Battlefront, The Force Unleashed and Episode 3 – Return of the Sith.
It should be noted though that while this is 4th biggest launch for a LEGO title, LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy sold more in its second week than its first. You can view the full UK chart by clicking here.
