Reddit users have discovered a new extended gameplay demo video released today on the Mafia Games YouTube channel.
The video is an extended version of the Gamescom gameplay demo and sees Mafia 3 protagonist, Lincoln Clay, take down one of New Bordeaux’s criminal under-bosses.
The game is looking impressive and is a feast for the eyes. A classic story of revenge, Lincoln Clay’s story takes him into the open world of a re-imagined New Orleans in developer Hangar 13’s ‘New Bordeaux’.
The game is looking pretty fun, the gun play reminiscent of Grand Theft Auto and appropriately brutal. At one point it was certainly hard not to feel sorry for the gangster who gets shot, point-blank, in the ass with a shotgun. His pained cries can be heard as Lincoln continues his onslaught of the gang’s skyscraper location.
Mafia 3 launches on October 7th and will be available on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
