Mass Effect: Andromeda loses another staff member from development studio BioWare

The Senior Editor for Mass Effect: Andromeda, Carmen Harris, has announced via Twitter that she too will be leaving the team at BioWare. This follows on from the loss of the Development Director and Lead Writer who have also announced their departure from the team in the past two months.

“I’ve decided to exit the video-game industry to return to Seattle for new opportunities there. I’ll be leaving BioWare in mid-April.”

“I had a great time at BioWare, working with so many talented, passionate folks. I’m grateful for everything you taught me over the years.”

“I wish all the best for my friends and colleagues at BioWare and across the games industry. You are some of the finest people I know.”

“And to the fans especially: thank you for all of your enthusiasm and support over the past several years while I did this games thang. <3”Carmen Harris, Senior Editor

Whilst this isn’t great news for BioWare, ultimately this should not having any bearing on the release date for Mass Effect: Andromeda in the first quarter of 2017 according to EA.

We wish Carmen the best and thank her for all her contributions to the industry.
