Members of the Preview Program on the Xbox One have been enjoying a variety of Backwards Compatible games on the Xbox One since E3 2015 earlier this year.
For gamers who have been playing on Xbox for many years this was a bombshell of an announcement at E3 that breathed new life into what was previously for many a shelf full of Xbox 360 games collecting dust while we enjoyed the never-ending new features of the Xbox One.
While the line-up of games that are available via backwards compatibility features some great titles like Mass Effect, everyone is eagerly awaiting news of what and when the next batch will be on the way.
Today, in a reply to a fan on Twitter, Phil Spencer advises that we should be hearing more news about the next installments this week.
The other very exciting statement that was made is that Phil Spencer has a priority to get games such as Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon added to the list of backwards compatible games.
Both of these titles were huge upon release and still have a large and loyal following, so they are certainly games that would be accepted with open arms by the Xbox One community.
Joining the list of the initial 23 games added to the program has been: Gears of War and shadow Complex, bringing the list up to a total of 25 games available to play via backwards compatibility.
