Switch 3rd Party Accessories

The month of January continues to give Nintendo Switch fans more to look forward to.

With the official Nintendo meeting just a week away, companies are taking advantage of prepping for the new console with what little information they have. The first company to do so revealed its products for the new Nintendo console and the NES Classic console at CES earlier today.

In an article released by Polygon, company Snakebyte will be releasing a series of accessories for the Switch and NES Classic this spring.

Switch 3rd Party AccessoriesThe bundle will include:

The Nintendo Switch Foldable Headset features 40mm drivers and folds up when traveling.

The Nintendo Switch Starter Kit includes a carry bag, stereo earbuds, cleaning cloth, screen protector, control caps and game cases.

The Nintendo NES Classic Edition Power Adaptor accepts the USB cord from the NES Classic console and allows users to draw power from any regular power outlet.

The Nintendo NES Classic Edition Gamepad Extension Cable adds 9.8 feet to the relatively short included Gamepad cable for the NES Classic.

The accessories included for the NES Classic will look to fix the many complaints consumers have had about the ridiculously short cable length for the controller, while also making it easier to supply a power source for the console.

Lately, more and more information has released on the new Nintendo console. The most recent news being the patent applications filed by the company for possible features in the Nintendo Switch. Those patents included a gyroscope, GPS, touchscreen, compass, motion tracking, image recognition, and the ability to project images onto a flat surface or hand.

The patents released before the Nintendo Switch reveal turned out to be mostly accurate into what the consoles finished project became to be but, we will have to wait until January 12th to find out just what all the console can do.

Will you be picking up the Snakebyte accessories? Do you think Nintendo will support more third party additions? Let us know in the comments below, on the RGM Forums, or over on our Twitter.
