Overwatch will be free-to-play November 18th-21st!

For any who found themselves intrigued by Overwatch, but have yet to try out the critically-lauded (and extremely fun) multiplayer Hero shooter, you’ll get a chance starting November 18th. Starting next Friday, players on Xbox One, PS4, and Windows will get a chance to download the full game with full access of all content until the 21st.

A great aspect of this is that you can progress through the game effectively and if you end up purchasing the game through the same profile you played the free trial on, you’ll retain all of your progress. In order to play, it does require either a Xbox Live, PS Plus, or Battlenet account.

If you have access to any of the platforms that will be hosting this free event, you should certainly take the opportunity to do so, especially if you’ve enjoyed Blizzard’s previous work or if you simply enjoy online multiplayer shooters. Overwatch has an outstanding variety in characters and gameplay, so there’s plenty to experiment with and enjoy.
