A leaked Snapchat (from the look of it) was posted on Reddit yesterday which shows a poster for an upcoming and as yet, not yet officially announced, expansion for Destiny, called Rise of Iron.

Two sources close to Bungie apparently confirmed this to Kotaku, and revealed that the expansion "will feature a new raid and will be larger than the two year-one DLC packs", we're not sure how (if at all) it's related to Destiny's Iron Banner event, but the leaked pic looks to be Lord Saladin wielding what looks like a flaming battleaxe or hammer.

Rise of Iron would be the 4th Expansion for Destiny following The Dark Below, House of Wolves and The Taken King.

Bungie had delayed its internal target of releasing Destiny 2 to 2017, but Rise of Iron could well be filling the gap it was originally meant to fill in late Summer 2016.

Nothing official has come out from Bungie as yet, but with E3 just a few weeks away, don't be surprised to hear something then.

So what do you think about this? Does it look legit? Or has someone taken us for fools? If it is legit, do you think you'll get it? Let us know in the comments below or in the RGM Forums.
