During a special presentation at this years San Diego Comic Con, Sega announced Sonic Mania a new classically styled 2D Sonic game for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo NX and PC.
As part of the 25th Anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sega also released an announcement trailer for the game. Sonic Mania is being developed by Sonic alum Christian Whitehead, along with Headcannon and PagodaWest Games.
