After months of secrecy, the official title for Episode 8 has finally been revealed. In an announcement on the official website, the full title was confirmed to be Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
An interesting choice, as the title for a Star Wars film usually reflects the main underlying theme. (Mild spoilers for Episode 7 ahead) With an emphasis placed on how destitute the Jedi order has become, this certainly seems to imply a mantle of responsibility falling on Rey. That said, Jedi can be plural as well as singular, so I wouldn’t jump to conclusions about Luke leaving the saga just yet.
