Hey Super Mario Maker fans! You may be interested to know that the wildly popular level creation game will be receiving a content update on November 4th. The update will include the ability to add mid-level checkpoints, along with the addition of Course World categories that highlight new levels from Nintendo as well as partner creators outside of Nintendo.
Players have uploaded over 3.3 million levels world-wide and it should be interesting to see how creators use the new tools in the levels they create. The update will include the winning level from Nintendo’s partnership with Facebook along with the level featured in the final round of the PAX Prime 2015 Omegathon.
According to Nintendo more levels will be added and you can find them in the new “Official Makers” section of the Course World section included in the update.
