The Binding of Isaac : Rebirth has been released now for about about 18 months now (following the success of the original release of the game), and it was very well received, both critically and by the users. More content is then welcome for this roguelike game with a unique art style, where a child must escape his mother. Here is the trailer for those who are unaware of what this game consists of.
In October of last year, the PC version of the game has seen an expansion pack released called The Binding of Isaac : Afterbirth. The additional content consisted of :
- over 100 hours of additional gameplay
- a new game mode
- a new final area with a new final boss
- new challenges
- new rooms and room designs
- 120 new items
- an updated weapon combo system
- alternate soundtrack
- etc.
The comments on this content were very positive, so it was only a matter of time before it gets also released on console.
May 10th 2016 will see the release of The Binding of Isaac : Afterbirth for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for a price of 10.99$.
