When the Official PlayStation Blog announced that there would be a huge lineup of games with an important discount, I never expected there to be this many sales! There are literally hundreds of games if you add up deals for the PS4, PS3, PSVR and Vita. This sale will be active for two weeks, so it is a very good way to celebrate the fact that we are already in the middle of 2017, and for our US readers, celebrate the Fourth of July! Same thing for Canadians like me, to celebrate Canada Day on July 1st!
After spending a lot of time going through all the games on sale, I realized that picking a deal of the week was going to be a very tough challenge. Almost all of the bigger franchises have deals on their games, from the recent to much older titles. After some thoughts, I’ve decided to choose one that is not on sale very often and is now offered at 70% off. It is a tactical RPG from NIS, that was a PS4 exclusive for a long time however is now available on the Nintendo Switch. It is a franchise that has gone on for three generations of consoles and this new iteration is the fifth game of the series. I’m talking about: Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance
Form an alliance and get revenge, in the latest SRPG in the Disgaea franchise. Killia, a loner, is drawn into forming a rebel army with a group of Overlords to oppose Demon Emperor Void Dark, and prevent him from taking over all of the Netherworlds.
