Warhammer The End Times: Vermintide Now Available for Consoles

New game from Games Workshop crosses elements of popular games

I used to love the Warhammer series, and by that I mean the little figures that you could paint and battle in epic day long campaigns. However, I never had the patience to actually do the painting, it seemed too finicky, especially considering what some people could do with it. If only Games Workshop did some awesome looking co-op-esque game that I could play; enjoying the lore and Warhammer universe without the expensive paints, figures and scenery…oh there is? Awesome!

Warhammer The End Times: Vermintide has just released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and could be something that could fill a void until Valve learn how to count to three and give us that next Left 4 Dead game we’re all waiting for.

Looking like a cross between Left 4 Dead and a faster paced Skyrim certainly sounds like a winning combination. It is a four player first person co-op game that lets you pick one of five heroes tasked with taking out the ‘dreaded Skaven army’. The console release packs in 18 varied levels, including any DLC levels released for the PC version of the game.

I for one am quite excited, after watching that release trailer anyways. You can find more details on the game over on the official website.
