For all fans of Ubisoft’s hit Rainbow Six Siege do we have some good news for you!
According to our sources at VG 24/7 in preparation for year 2 of the latest game in the Rainbow Six franchise, Ubisoft has now released the year 2 season pass for purchase. Seeing as the shooter for Ubisoft has consistently been growing as time goes on now having more players than they did at launch it is no surprise to see some new add-ons coming our way for the much anticipated year 2.
The season pass is available on both Xbox and PlayStation for $30/£25. Once you pay up for the new years pass this is what you will be receiving:
Operators and bonus DLC
- 8 new Year 2 operators across 4 seasons
- 8 exclusive headgear customizations
- 8 exclusive uniform customizations
- R6 Carbon charm
- 600 R6 Credits to purchase in-game content
VIP perks
- 7-day early access to each season’s new Operators.
- 10% discount in in-game shop
- 5% Renown boost to unlock in-game content faster
- 2 extra daily challenges
For those looking to jump in right away, you can purchase the pass here for Xbox, and here for PS4.
The VIP bonus will carry over until February 7, 2018, and if you buy the pass before February 7, 2017, you’ll receive the Obsidian weapon skin. If you own the Year 1 season pass and plan to get this one, you’ll also be gifted 600 R6 Credits upon purchase.
It’s worth noting that the Year 2 pass will replace the current pass. Meaning, the only way to unlock Year 1 operators going forward will be through in-game currency.
While Ubisoft has yet to make any official statements for the year 2 plans or content it’s clear they are looking for another strong year from the shooter.
