PlayStation 4 sizes it up 1TB style

PlayStation 4 players will be excited to know a 1TB Ultimate Players Edition unit is on its way to the stores.

In follow up on Xbox One’s announcement of their 1TB unit they also have decided to join in and give players more room on their drive for their buck.

It doesn’t take long to fill up the memory space on these consoles considering some games can be over 50GB. Especially if purchased direct from the digital library it’s easy to hit the maximum storage limit.

The 1TB PS4 will be available for purchase come the 15th July 2015 in Europe and then panned across the globe. A slimmer lighter 500GB version will also become available sometime after that, though no date has been set yet.

Reminds me of the older days when I upgraded my PS2 standard to a PS2 Slimline weighing two bricks less, and certainly being easier to transport to a friends place and fit into the chunky old TV cabinet. The good old days of the VHS and Tube TV’s are so far in the past it’s not funny.

So if you’re thinking of upgrading or wanting to size up check this 1TB Beast out:
