Sledgehammer Games have announced 3 new weapons that are heading to Advanced Warfare, starting with the Xbox One today.
As usual PlayStation 4 & PC will get these roughly one month later however they will not be making an appearance on the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 due to hardware limitations.
The Blunderbuss is one of the three new weapons being added. A short-range weapon that is extremely powerful, shotgun users will quickly fall in love with this gun, however it does have the draw back of a very slow re-load time. You can look forward to a variety of variants being added to Supply Drops for this weapon similar to how the M1 Irons was introduced to the game. You can unlock this weapon via Supply Drops.
If you are after accuracy and fire-rate then the STG44 is for you. A medium range weapon that will rival the BAL-Inferno for how flat it is. This is your all round, any map kind of gun that will suit all the gun-n-gunners out there. This weapon must be earned via a Regular Supply Drop to unlock the base version of the STG44.
Snipers prepare to get excited because the SVO is on the way also. This gun is semi-automatic and has great accuracy, however it comes come with elevated recoil though, which basically makes this gun a quick scopers dream. As with the STG44 you must earn the base unlock of this weapon via a Regular Supply Drop.
Next month you can look forward to more announcement from Sledgehammer about other weapons that are on the way. This is the first of many more weapon bundles that will be landing in the game over the coming weeks.
