Want Windows 10 on your PC/Tablet but don’t know how? We are here to help

Windows 7 & 8.1 users will most likely be logging onto their PC or tablet and noticing a new icon on the bottom right of the screen as shown in the below image.

This is where you will be able to secure your copy of the Windows 10 upgrade.windows logo

If you haven’t already received a notification on your device asking you if you would like to secure your upgrade then click on this icon now and you will be prompted to secure your upgrade.

If you have already registered then you can open this notification to get some more details about the install and when you will be notified that your update is ready to activate.

The roll out has begun so if you want to access your upgrade right away you need to get onto this as the install is around 3GB.

This upgrade will be available for those using Windows 7, 8.1 and Windows phone users however it will not be on mobile devices at launch.

If you are unsure about things like: Is the upgrade really free? What are the qualifications for the free upgrade? How to find out what the status of your upgrade is etc, then please visit the Windows 10 upgrade FAQ for more specific details.
