As gamers, we don’t want to be playing the same games over and over again, we want new adventures, challenges and the excitement that can only come from the anticipation of that new title you have been waiting on.
Xbox has made sure they have you covered for 2015. The line-up of titles releasing this year that was shown at E3 was rather extensive, and the appeal they have to gamers has been clearly shown in this month’s comparison figures from sales this time last year.
Aaron Greenberg updated us all earlier today, advising that there has been a 51% sales increase from this time last year, and that during the week of E3 that statistic was actually sitting at a staggering 79% increase.
When you take a look at the blockbuster titles that will be hitting the shelves this year it’s no surprise at all that sales are continuing to rise week in week out.
Titles such as: Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Halo 5: Guardians, Rare: Replay, Forza Motorsport 6, and Fable Legends just to name a few, are major drawing cards.
It’s great to see the sales figures starting to reflect the popularity of not only this console but also the major exclusive franchises that have been delivering year after year.
Nomination stats were also proudly boasted today which really show just how anticipated and respected the upcoming release of Halo 5: Guardians is.
