UPDATE – DELAYED: New Weapons on the way to Advanced Warfare & the FINAL batch of Royalty Variants

Update:

Sledgehammer Games have decided to delay the release of the new weapons and Royalty variants until September 1st so that it does not interfere with the Black Ops 3 beta. So don’t worry if you were set in to start your beta days on Xbox One tomorrow as you will have these weapons waiting for you at the end of it.

Original Story:

Sledgehammer Games have released details of new weapons and Royalty Elite Variants that are on the way to Advanced Warfare next week.

On the 25^th of August the final set of Royalty Variants will be added which include:

• MP11
• SN6
• AE4

The weapons that are being added are two fan favorites plus the CEL-3 from Exo-zombies. As usual these weapons will be available first on the Xbox One, with PlayStation 4 and PC following approximately 4 weeks later; however Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 won’t be getting them due to hardware limitations.

 

The first weapon on the list is the AK47.

This Assault Rifle is a close to medium range weapon that packs a huge punch but at the cost of a lot of recoil – burst fire is recommended.

There will be 5 variants added via Regular and Advanced Supply Drops. Once you pick up one of the base weapon will be automatically unlocked for you.

Next up we have the M16.

A three-round burst fire Assault Rifle. Great over long distances but not so great close up.

Coming over from the land of Exo-zomibes is the CEL-3

This is a fully automatic directed energy shotgun. The fire rate increase with each chamber turn so make sure you have time to get those first couple of shots in.

There will be 2 variants added via Regular and Advanced Supply Drops. Once you pick up one of the base weapon will be automatically unlocked for you.

One thing everyone loves to get their hands on is the Royalty Variants of their favorite weapon.

A final set of Royalty Variants is being added on August 25^th.b Hopefully the gun you have been waited on is in the list below.
