During Sony’s Tokyo Game Show press conference a few announcements were made regarding new accessories for the PlayStation 4 along with a price drop.
New hard drive panels will be available in a variety of colours: Yellow, Blue, Pink & Gold, while new DualShock 4 controllers will be available in Gold, Silver, Steel Black and Transparent Crystal.
These items will be available in Japan from the 6th of November 2015 with no global release date provided as of yet.
The hard drive panels will set you back 2,500 JPY (approx. $20 USD) and the controllers are 6,480 JPY (approx. $53 USD)
The PlayStation 4 will be receiving a price drop down to 34,980 JPY (approx. $290 USD) starting with Japan, and again, no date has been provided as of yet as to when that price drop will hit globally although we can expect that this will occur around the holiday season.
