Halo 5: Guardians launch to include helicopters, live combat, celebrities and much more….

On October 26th at 1800 EDT Microsoft will be launching their biggest and most bold Halo launch to date. Along with streaming exclusive Halo content via YouTube thanks to the partnership announced today between Microsoft and YouTube, the first Xbox Roundtable featuring the game’s writers will take place.

There are various activities planned around the world including a pretty wild ride down-under. One lucky person in Australia will get to play Halo 5 whilst flying in a helicopter – pretty insane!

In Hong Kong a replica of the multilplayer map ‘Breakout’ will be set up for fans to actually participate in real Halo style combat.

There is even talk of Microsoft sending figurines of the Master Chief and Locke into space for a ‘selfie’.

There will also be a host of in-store celebrations around the globe, including Microsoft stores offering fans free posters with purchases over $25 and a chance to win a tour of the 343 Industries studios in Seattle.

“Whether they tune into the live broadcast on YouTube or come out and celebrate with us in person at one of our global fan events, we hope Halo Nation will help make Halo 5: Guardians the biggest game launch in Xbox history” Bonnie Ross, 343 Industries.
