YouTube releases update 10.38 to make editing your videos easier on iOS devices

YouTube version 10.38 is now available in the Apple App store for iPhones, iPads and iPod Touch devices.

The update brings with it several improvements that makes editing your videos, easier, faster and a lot more fun.

You will now be able to trim your videos or cut them into sections and even limit the running time of different sections.YT1

There are now filters available that you can instantly apply to your video to change the look and feel of the clip, plus there is a selection of music that you can choose to apply that has been provided by YouTube or if you prefer you can upload an audio file from your iOS device to add to the background.

There has also been some new features added for when you just want to sit back and watch someone else’s videos with the implementation of a left swipe to reveal your subscribed channels and a second swipe will bring up your own account.

There is also a new hamburger icon on the top right which will take you directly to your account settings, help screen and other useful tools.

All in all I think these are some great improvements making navigating around YouTube on iOS devices a lot easier, and for those who edit content on YouTube more options is always a win.
