As parts of the world prepare for winter to settle in and coat everything in glistening white power, Psyonix is too preparing for the holiday season with the announcement of Winter Games.
To commence with, the previously announced Mutator Mode will now be called ‘Snow Day’ – fitting I know.
Keeping with the hockey theme ‘Snow Day’ will have a disc-shaped puck instead of a ball for you to smash around the ice-themed arena.
The bigger and more exciting news for the lovers of the soccer/racing/derby mash-up multiplayer madness is the inclusion of new garage items.
Landing on December 14th will be the option for you to unlock special holiday themed garage items which will be available until January 4th 2016. These items will have a lower drop rate that the standard items however once you unlock them they are yours to keep.
Whilst they may disappear on January 4th they will still be on your profile ready for you to access again next holiday season.

- “Christmas Tree” Topper
- “Sad Sapling” Topper
- “Santa” Topper

Winter Games is available in Rocket League on PlayStation 4 and PC only starting December 14th 2015.
