Electronic Arts will not have a booth at E3 2016

Well this is interesting, after years of appearing as a part of the traditional E3 floor presentations, EA will not be having a booth on the floor at E3 2016.

Instead EA have opted to do their presentation on the Sunday afternoon before hand. The new EA event will be called EA Play and will not be held at the LA Convention Centre, instead they have rented Club Nokia at LA Live.

This event will take place on Sunday June 12th at 1300 PT and will run through until June 14th.

We’re excited to announce EA Play, an all-new event experience in Los Angeles and London this June built around our players and bringing our latest games to life. Please visit ea.com/Play2016 to learn more about these events and how you can come to Play.

Our players are the driving force behind everything we do. So this summer, we’re opening up our world to you with unique new live events in Los Angeles and London. We’ll bring the new games, we’ll bring the demos, we’ll bring the competition…and you get to go hands-on. Or join us online and immerse yourself to experience some of our biggest games of the year. Let’s live to play together.

At this stage there is not much information available however I am sure EA will make sure we are all very well informed in advance of the event.

EA, it’s in the game?
