The Division Gets an Open Beta February 16th to the 21st

the division, tom clancy, update info

If you haven’t been able to take part in The Division‘s Closed Beta so far (it’s been extended to Tuesday, February 2nd, 12pm CET | 6 am EST | 3 am PST), then you may be in luck.

The folks over at Eurogamer noted that Xbox Italy’s official Facebook page posted a February schedule, which includes information on a second, open beta for The Division between February 16th through the 21st. Although Ubisoft has yet to confirm this is the case, it’s all but confirmation from Microsoft. It’s not clear if the Playstation 4 will also get an open beta. The decision to run a second, open beta would be a good one for Ubisoft. A lot of people who preordered the game had difficulty getting their beta codes, or did not receive them at all.

It’d be a shame if loyal customers who preordered the game were not able to take part in the Beta, and an open beta would also allow Ubisoft to showcase an excellent experience to consumers who may be on the fence about purchasing the game.

We’ll keep you posted if and when Ubisoft confirms the open beta, and if it will also be on PS4. If you haven’t played the current beta for The Division, check out our impressions below:
