Nintendo’s Miitomo app is now available in North America for download on iOS and Android devices. This marks Nintendo’s first foray into the world of mobile game publishing with Miitomo, which is more of a social interaction app than a traditional game. Miitomo encourages interactions and making friends through use of you’re created Mii avatar.
Nintendo also launched the new My Nintendo rewards site in North America today where users can earn coins for completing activities such as linking your Miitomo account to your My Nintendo Rewards account. My Nintendo Rewards replaces the now defunct Club Nintendo and just like in that program users collect coins that can then be used for purchasing digital games and other items.
You can also earn coins for for completing mission and activities in the Miitomo app.
