Blizzard have now officially announced the release date for Overwatch and the upcoming open beta which will be available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC this coming May.
If you have pre-ordered Overwatch, as a special thanks to you from the team at Blizzard, you will have early access to the open beta from May 3rd. You will also have the ability to invite a friend to come along and experience those two days exclusive early access with you.
For everyone else the open beta will begin on May 5th and run through until May 9th.
Blizzard are committed to ensuring that the open beta is available across all regions worldwide so that everyone can get an opportunity to try the game out for themselves prior to the May 24th release date.
