There will be plenty of new things to do on Tom Clancy’s The Division when the 1.1 Incursions update is released on April 12th, so add Weekly Missions to the list.
To tease the new Weekly Missions, Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment released a short video:
The video doesn’t provide many details. Who is Simon? What are the rewards? We don’t know.
But here’s what we do know about The Division‘s new Weekly Missions game mechanic:
- There will be new Weekly Missions every Tuesday, starting April 12th.
- Weekly Missions are obtained automatically when signing in to The Division.
- Players will receive special rewards for completing Weekly Missions.
- Weekly Missions come in three categories: Crafting, Dark Zone, and Combat.
- Most can be completed alone, but some will require help from other Agents.
As part of Update 1.1: Incursions, The Division is also adding Daily Missions, so it’s safe to assume Weekly Missions will be similar, but more time consuming.
