FIFA 16 – 6th Title Update Notes

After doing some writing yesterday, I thought I’d continue my FIFA  16 “Be a Pro” Career on PC for a little bit – and yes I use GameFace, and yes I am Leeds United’s star striker…a boy can dream can’t he?!

Well wouldn’t you know it, it had to update. So I had to wait a short bit (not long, I’m on fibre optic broadband, what do you think I am an animal??) and then I was away. But then, FIFA isn’t updated all that often so I looked around and found a post from the FIFA Community Manager on their official forum detailing the  6th Title Update.

“The sixth title update for FIFA 16 is now available for PC. We will have an announcement about the update’s availability for XB1/X360/PS3/PS4 at a later date

We addressed the following in FIFA 16 Ultimate Team:

  • Enhanced ability to message players about issues and updates.
  • Matchmaking improvements to help players find each other quicker.
  • Matchmaking rematch issues in FUT Online Draft.

In addition we have also addressed the following:

  • Fixed the compare feature on leaderboards.
  • Fixed an issue with Player Career Mode accomplishments affecting Pro Clubs.

Thank you to all FIFA fans who continue to provide their constructive feedback on Twitter, Facebook, and the EA Forums. Throughout the course of the FIFA 16 season we’ll provide you with more information and updates if and when they become available.”

With the major European Domestic Leagues winding down before the start of Euro 2016 in France, EA could be forgiven for not committing themselves to any further updates on the game, with attentions moved to FIFA 17, now the season is effectively over.

Historically, EA usually announce their next FIFA game towards the back end of May, so I’ll be keeping an eye out for any news on that to bring you.
