Running With Scissors yesterday released POSTAL Redux on Steam, and it looks gloriously gory.
POSTAL Redux is a remake in HD of The Postal Dude’s first outing. The store page on Steam goes into further detail:
“Prepare to experience his psychological journey with faithfully recreated high resolution visuals, remastered music, sounds, and dialog, and revamped and modernized gameplay. Crazed gunmen out for your blood await you around every corner. The only choice is clear: Get them before they get you. Fight back with a devastating arsenal as you make your way through a violence-stricken town. “
The features of the game include a new “Rampage Mode”, 17 levels of the classic campaign, enemies including SWAT teams, the Military, gun-toting vigilantes, a Marching Band and even angry Ostriches. There are also 10 weapons to choose from, from Molotovs and the Flamethrower to a Rocket Launcher or a Shotgun.
There is currently a 10% discount on the game until May 27, and the current price is £8.99/$13.49/€13.49.
