Xbox announces a special Forza event along with a "can't miss fan celebration" for FanFest E3 2016

This morning Major Nelson has updated his E3 blog to advise of a new exciting additions that will be occurring during FanFest E3 2016.

500 fans will be able to snag up a ticket to attend this event by lining up at the Microsoft store at Westfield Century City in Los Angeles starting on Saturday, June 11 at 10:00 p.m. PDT. Along with the previously advised events that will take place at FanFest, the ticket will now also give you access to attend a special Forza Motorsport event at the Petersen Automotive Museum on the afternoon of Monday, June 13 and a can’t-miss “Fan Celebration” event on the evening of Tuesday, June 14 at the Premiere House at Regal LA Live.

Here are all the details regarding FanFest E3 2016, where you need to be to stand a chance of getting a ticket, and what that will entitle you to attend:

Once again, Xbox will be giving 500 lucky fans a ticket for exclusive access to Xbox FanFest: E3 2016. The Xbox FanFest: E3 2016 is from Monday, June 13, through Wednesday, June 15. Tickets will include:

  • Entry into the Xbox E3 2016 Briefing on Monday, June 13th, 9:30 a.m. PDT at the Galen Center
  • Access to a special Forza Motorsport event at the Petersen Automotive Museum on Monday afternoon, June 13th.
  • A can’t-miss “Fan Celebration” event on Tuesday evening, June 14th, at the Premiere House at Regal L.A. LIVE: A Barco Innovation Center.
  • A custom-built backpack filled with gaming swag
  • Play time with all-new exclusives and our biggest blockbuster games coming this holiday
  • The chance to meet some of the industry’s top developers, leaders and influencers.
  • Even more surprise events during the week.

Today, we’re happy to share some new details on just how you can go about taking part. First, as with previous Xbox FanFests you’ll need to be over the age of 21 and have an Xbox Live gamertag. Next, you’ll need to get a ticket. Fans can line up at the Microsoft store at Westfield Century City in Los Angeles starting on Saturday, June 11 at 10:00 p.m. PDT. Credentials will be distributed to the first 500 fans in line, then FanFest tickets will be distributed to credential holders the following morning, Sunday, June 12 at 11:00 a.m. PDT. The Microsoft store is located at 10250 Santa Monica Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA. Lining up will take place near the Food Court, located on level 2. We’re also excited to share information on more of what you’ll receive if you’re one of those 500 lucky fans. In addition to already announced goodies like entry into the Xbox E3 2016 Briefing and a custom-built backpack full of gaming swag, FanFest attendees will be invited to a special Forza Motorsport event at the Petersen Automotive Museum on the afternoon of Monday, June 13 and a can’t-miss “Fan Celebration” event on the evening of Tuesday, June 14 at the Premiere House at Regal LA Live.
