Earlier today, Playtonic Games announced the release of the first ever trailer of their colorful game Yooka-Laylee. Although E3 isn’t here yet, the team have tagged the trailer “E3 2016 Trailer” and also confirmed the release date of the game will be in the first quarter of 2017.
“As well as revealing the first gameplay in over a year, this video also confirms that, after long consideration and knowing through dialogue with our fans that they value quality and polish above all, we’ve made the difficult decision to lock the release of Yooka-Laylee to Q1 2017.” – Playtonic Games Website.
The team also apologized for the delay but promised fans an even more improved and polished game in the coming year. Enjoy the Trailer below:
I am sure Banjo-Kazooie fans are already itching on their seats. No doubt this game is full of fun. And talk about epic humor, the team went an extra mile at the end of the trailer with a bonus cutscene where Laylee rips the trailer to pieces for being ‘crap’ and wonders where a missing level has got to.
I think this is worth the wait, what do you think? We would love to hear your views via the comments section.
