Come on guys, admit it. We all like free things don’t we? Fancy a game for free? Well Ubisoft are challenging you to get a game without paying a penny, or to a lesser extent, a cent.
From yesterday you could download Trials of the Blood Dragon through Ubisoft’s PC platform, Uplay, and the demo will run until Sunday July 31st (no times given), and if you can complete the demo with 15 faults or fewer, then the game is yours on PC at absolutely zero cost. Zilch. Nada.
Sorry Xbox One and PS4 gamers, this offer is only available on PC despite the game being on all 3 platforms, but still – the demo is out.
Trials of the Blood Dragon is a stand-alone spin-off of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, set 12 years after the events of said game, and will span over 30 missions.
I think this is a great idea, getting gamers to play the demo with purpose and with a goal. I would love to see more games taking this approach as a great way of showing their appreciation for the gaming community, but what do you think? Let us know in the comments below or in the RGM Forums.
