Speaking to a fan on Twitter Head of Xbox Phil Spencer revealed that he is onboard with Nintendo’s recently revealed Classic Mini NES and also says he will purchase one. Spencer believes that keeping classic games readily available is important to the art-form and for gaming in general.
Nintendo’s Classic Mini NES releases this November 11th for $59.99 and will include 30 classic NES games.
It’s not surprising that Spencer would feel this as last August Microsoft released Rare Replay which collected 30 of the historic developers titles and put them into one greatly presented and nicely priced package.
So could this mean that we could see an OG Xbox mini or some kind of new classics collection on the horizon? We could definitely hope and dream right?
