Rejoice console Trekkies! Star Trek Online, the free-to-play MMORPG based on the ridiculously popular space-faring franchise is soon to make the transition from PC to Xbox One and PS4. An “official developer walk through” video has been posted on the game’s YouTube channel featuring a shipload of gameplay footage straight from the upcoming console port. Check it out below:
Updates to the console version include brand new lighting effects, a completely rebuilt user interface, and an overhaul to the control system to enable easy use of gamepads. All content added to the game since its original PC release back in 2010 will also be available for console players to experience.
