Mortal Kombat XL is coming to PC! Yay or Nay?

Questions float as Warner Bros release online beta package to StreamDB

A lot of questions have arisen following Warner Bros announcing the release of Mortal Kombat XL on PC. On the 25th of August, an online Beta Package was released on SteamBD and gamers have been reacting to it.

“Over 10,000 of you voted, looks like you guys really want a PC MK XL and some character love/buffs! We hear ya!” said co-creator Ed Boon following a recent Twitter poll that asked players where they’d like to see the game to go next.

With the Beta up a lot of gamers are going to be excited. Although, quite a number of fans feel it was not a wise move especially because of past projects and creations from Warner Bros which were released on PC that got abandoned or had little or no improvement.

The testing period began a few days ago and will continue until 29th August at 10 p.m. PT or 1 a.m. ET. For those who do not know yet, Because the beta is intended to specifically test the game’s netcode, this build of Mortal Kombat XL is limited to online matches against other players but players can use Mortal Kombat XL’s full, roster of 33 distinct fighters with a few variations each.
