Punishing Hack n’ Slash ‘Slain’ Coming to Consoles

Do you miss the tough action platformers of the 80’s and 90’s? Well then, you’re in luck because Wolfbrew Games have announced the launch dates for the console versions of their stylish and gory adventure, Slain. Billed as a gothic puzzle-combat platformer with gore galore, the title started life on Kickstarter and was released on PC in early 2016.

Unfortunately, Slain received a fairly negative reception on Steam citing it’s boring combat and other issues with gameplay. Wolfbrew took the game back to the drawing board and with all criticism in hand, revamped the game from the ground up. Well it seems the “redeemed” version of Slain has vastly improved and the developer is being lauded for listening to fans and resolving many of the problems that plagued the original release.

Take a look at the announcement trailer below.

Slain will launch on PlayStation 4 on September 13th and on Xbox One on October 5th. You can grab the revamped version on Steam right now!
