Take-Two notes Rockstar working on new projects, “will be revealed soon”

Take-Two reported results of its first fiscal of 2017 in which the company reports earnings to the it’s shareholders. I won’t bore you with details of mega dollars on a scale that most of us will never see, but just know that the company seems to be doing just fine as they publish some of the most lucrative franchises in gaming.

The company reported that net revenue was on the rise on the strength of juggernaut titles like GTA V, GTA Online, NBA 2k16 and Battleborn but also noted that Battleborn did not perform as well as expected.

Take-Two also revealed that XCOM 2 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One has been delayed by a few weeks and will now ship on September 27th.

The publisher also noted durning its earning call that Rockstar has new projects on the way stating, “Rockstar Games also is hard at work on some exciting future projects that will be revealed soon.” No details were given unfortunately but when you hear that Rockstar could have new games on the horizon you definitely sit up and listen.
